FAQ
The stuff people ask first.
Booking, cancellations, what to bring, what to wear, how the small-group thing actually works.
I've tried gyms before and quit. Why would this be different?
It is the question almost every client asks before signing up. The answer most of them give a year later: capped class sizes, real coaching, and make-up sessions when life happens — so consistency stays the default, not the exception. We are the first thing that felt sustainable for a lot of our members. We plan to be that for you too.I've never done a class before. Am I going to be lost?
No. From your first session we explain what you are doing and why, and we modify on the fly for what your body can do today. Sessions are 30 minutes, circuit-style, and coached the whole time. You will know the room by your fourth visit.I'm in my 50s or 60s. Is this for me?
Yes — and this is exactly the right time to start. Some of our longest-tenured clients started in their 50s and say they are in the best shape of their lives now. Strength training matters more after 50, not less. You will be coached every step.I am not "in shape." Am I going to feel out of place?
One of our clients put it best: "It doesn't matter if you're 500 pounds or ripped with abs — you treat everyone with the same respect." The room is built for the start, not the finish line. There is no competition here — clients name that as a feature. Are most clients women?
Most are, and the room reflects that — small groups of women coaching each other through sets, learning each other's names, showing up week after week. We are not a women-only studio; we are a place where women have built the community. (Framing confirming with Chasity.)How do I book my first class?
Pick any open session on the schedule and check out. Drop-in pricing covers your first class — no membership required to try us. Your coach meets you at the door.Do I have to text someone to sign up?
Not anymore. You can book online, pay online, and get an automatic confirmation text. (You can still text us if you want — we are people.)What happens if I miss a class?
Tell us and we'll schedule a make-up. Consistency is the product, not punctuality. Life happens — the make-up policy is built in for exactly this. What's the difference between Personal Training and Small Group?
PT is one coach, one client, fully custom programming. Small Group is shared coaching with a strict cap (6 spots) so the coach still sees every rep. Same methodology, different format. Are small-group classes really capped?
Yes — we cap on purpose. If a class is full, the booking button switches to "Join Waitlist" and you get a text the moment a spot opens. How does the waitlist work?
When someone cancels, the system automatically texts the first person on the waitlist with a time-sensitive link to claim the spot. First click wins. What's the cancellation policy?
Memberships are no-contract with 4 business weeks notice to cancel — that part is final. Per-session cancellations are a 24-hour window; outside that window, your coach can usually move you to a make-up. We are reasonable. What do I need to bring on day one?
Workout clothes, gym shoes, a water bottle. That's it. We cover everything else in your first session — including the health-history paperwork (done online before you arrive).Do I need to fill out paperwork before my first class?
Yes — once you book, you get a link to your private member portal where you complete a health-history questionnaire and sign the liability waiver. Takes about 5 minutes. What is Elite weekend access?
A members-only tier that lets you train solo in the studio on Saturdays and Sundays. No scheduled class — just you, your playlist, and the equipment you already know. Can I drop in if I'm visiting from out of town?
Absolutely. Buy a drop-in spot in any open small-group session right from the schedule. No membership, no commitment, no sales call.Where do I see my workouts and progress?
Every member gets a private portal with their prescribed workouts (with form video demos), plus graphs of body weight, measurements, and PRs over time. How do I cancel or reschedule?
From your portal. Cancellations inside the policy window are automatic; outside the window, your coach reviews — but reach out, we'll move you to a make-up where we can.I have an injury or chronic issue. Can I still train?
Almost always yes — but message your coach first. Programming is adjusted around you, and for anything medical we route you through one of our PT partners before we add load. Our coaches are paid to watch what hurts, not push past it.Where exactly are you located?
2708 Airport Rd., Suite 4, Dalton, GA 30721 — about 25 minutes south of downtown Chattanooga, just off I-75. Call or text the studio at (706) 618-2087 and we'll point you to the door.Do you offer nutrition coaching?
Our coaches are knowledgeable about nutrition and training together — and they'll coach you on the basics that move the needle alongside your sessions. We don't run a separate nutrition program. (Confirming scope with Chasity.)
